    This release is more than a song. It is a journey showing how a song starts with the spark of an idea, how it mutates and grows, how even when the writing stage is complete, the long arduous task of arranging and recording begins. The different versions show how as an artist I am searching for the best way to realise the song, so a listener will be interested and pulled in.
    There are 9 different versions, from the first tinkering on an iPhone app in 2012/13, to the use of different drummers and engineers, to the final mastered version in 2017.
    This deluxe version also includes a PDF booklet with additional artwork, lyric and chord sheets, and the story of how the song was written.

We Are Beautiful People.... sometimes it is easy to forget that.

Here is a scene from Capra's 'It's A Wonderful Life' - "this rabble you're talking about...they do most of the working and paying and living and dying in this community. Well, is it too much to have them work and pay and live and die in a couple of decent rooms and a bath? Anyway, my father didn't think so. People were human beings to him, but to you, a warped frustrated old man, they're cattle. Well, in my book he died a much richer man than you'll ever be!"

These aren't the lyrics but it pretty much sums up everything I hold dear.
